MAGfest 8

Posted by Dan on January 7, 2010

So we’ve survived yet another set of panels, this time at MAGFest 8, which was an utter blast. Destructoid has a rundown on what you missed if you didn’t go, but let’s face it, you all know that I’m the only important thing on that list, right?

Right?

Looking forward, we’ll be expecting to hear a final confirmation on the third iteration of “Legal Issues in Gaming” at PAX (East) some time in the next couple of weeks, and we’ll get that information out to you as soon as it comes in and we finalize the panel attendees.

  1. Liz Surette Said,

I know it looks like I’ve dropped off the planet, but I’m still around. Keep me posted on the Boston plans…

  2. Dan Rosenthal Said,

I’ll be there for Boston, but we’re not doing the panel until Seattle. As for GamesLaw posts, I’ve yet to figure out what’s going to happen with this site now that I’m writing at GamePolitics.

  3. Liz Surette Said,

There won’t be a legal issues panel at PAX at all?

  4. Dan Rosenthal Said,

Not in Boston, they had to cut the number of panel rooms and slashed several hours off the first day’s set of panels, so there’s no room for us in Boston; it’s still on for Seattle though. Next year there’s going to be more space so hopefully it won’t be an issue then.
