My DVD Drive really doesn’t like Securom, though I don’t see it going away. I’ve had problems with games like WarHammer Battle-March and X3 with regards to accepting that the disc is an original. I’m glad that Egosoft saw the light and released a patch that removed Securom from X3.

What annoys me is that I will probably have to get a new DVD Player, because the odds of Securom increasing in use are pretty high unfortunately, they just claim all the complaints about functionality are coming from Pirates and Hackers, and then use it as promotional material.
