Massive collection of Jack Thompson’s recent filings
Posted by Dan on October 18, 2008We received lots of copies of Jack Thompson’s most recent court filings today, most of which are for the Thompson v. Florida Bar case. Note that the combined exhibits are almost 360 pages in size and span documents dating back to July. Analysis and discussion follow after the jump.
For 2008cv22603 (Thompson v. Florida Bar I), the following four files, in .zip format,
- Part #1, filings dating from 19 Sep. 2008 to 28 Sep. 2008, including docket reports.
- Part #2, filings dated from 30 Sep. 2008 to 03 Oct. 2008.
- Part #3, filings dated from 06 Oct. 2008 through 13 Oct. 2008, including an attached letter dated Oct. 7.
- Part #4, motions and notices from 14 Oct. 2008 through 17 Oct. 2008. The most recent of these is entitled “PLAINTIFF’S VERIFIED MOTION FOR THE COURT TO TAKE JUDICIAL NOTICE OF GOVERNMENTAL DOCUMENTS, ETC.” and includes a 138 page congressional report.
- This .rar file should contain all of the above, but since I don’t have WinRAR I cannot verify that.
I’d like to point out that Thompson’s most recent motion includes such gems as the following:
“Rather than burden this federal court, however, with the proff that the Referee’s Report and the
subsequent Disbarment Order are complete acts of fiction, plaintiff herein now simply
asks this court to take judicial notice of certain documents that are completely
independent of plaintiff that disprove just one of the Supreme Court’s “findings.””
Also, I want to point out, Mr. Thompson (since I know you read this site) that you have a typo on your motion — “Proff”? Surely you meant proof, or, proffer, or some other such word. But, considering it is sandwiched in the middle of a sentence to the effect of “Instead of actually proving my case, I’m just going to attach over a hundred of pages of documents that purport to cast doubt on a single point the court made, without addressing substantively my defense of that point, or of any of the others made by the court.” Thompson even knows full well what he’s doing is a burden for the court. To wit, from his own motion (bolded for emphasis):
“Plaintiff Thompson has burdened this court with an analysis of just one of the
Supreme Court’s findings”
Then again, this is from an attorney who compares himself to the leadership of the Nazi’s:
“Goering and Goebbels got more due process than this at Nuremburg.”
In Thompson’s world, comparing yourself to the Nazi leadership makes you a martyr. Just sick.
In addition, we have the collected docket report and filings from Thompson v. Hall et al, (his case v. the Supreme Court of Florida), 2008cv22378. Those can be found here and here.

My goodness, how you go on. The comparison was to the lack of due process in my proceedings with what was afforded even the Nazis at Nuremburg. You do have a high school education, right?
Oh, and the only reason I go to this site is that Google gives me any articles out there each morning in which people evince their ongoing obsession with Jack Thompson. Get over me.
Gosh, I forgot one more thing: These aren’t “defense pleadings,” Ace. I’m the plaintiff. Duh.

So because you Google yourself every day, these people are obsessed? It’s only the fact you keep posting your somewhat pathetic responses that has promoted any interest whatsoever, which you well know, since that is precisely why you do it
Our fascination with you is sort of like the way crowds gather around someone standing on top of a huge building. It’s fascination with horrible, complete, and unremitting disasters, one of the more strange habits of the human race, but one that nonetheless exists, and you are the perfect example.
And how can you have due process with someone who cries like a baby and storms out of hearings? Kind of hard to do that when the accused is sulking because he didn’t get his own way.
As Dan points out, Parts 1-4 are the full docket now in Zip format to help you Mac users have access.
The RAR update contains the two documents filed on the 17th and they are also located in the Part 4 Zip file. I had emailed the RAR update first and Dan said he uses a Mac and that Zip can be read by Macs.
Future updates will be in Zip format. I don’t have WinAce installed and WinRar can compress to either RAR or Zip.
Dan looks like he’s having a great time with these documents.
And on the big exhibit pdf from yesterday is actually a group of exhibit reports John Bruce filed. The group of reports totals almost 360 pages. It’s easier to download all documents in one pdf file than a bunch of seperate ones. Besides, these reports can easily be found online. Including the FTC 2007 report… as well as the several prior year FTC reports which, when view one after the other, show marked IMPROVMENT over the years in regards to retail sales of video games. But, hey, that wouldn’t help John Bruce’s case to tell The Truth, The WHOLE Truth, And Nothing But The Truth. If he swears that the contents of his Motion are are complete, and he fails to give ALL the reports showing the improvment over time, does that mean he lied in that oath?

Oh, he does pay attention, he just doesn’t respond when someone has a point
It’s been his habit for years, he’ll make a bunch of accusations and insults and then mysteriously vanish the moment someone proves him wrong, that’s why he stormed out of that hearing, it was the real-life version of refusing to respond to any valid points raised about his arguments.
Thompson’s spent his entire life running away or trying to avoid responsibility, which is why he tries to help other people do the same, to justify his own actions.
Oh Former Attorney Thompson, you are a living, breathing MPRE essay question. Come to think of it, that might make a good article of mine one of these days?

You did have “Due process”, but you were the one who left the proceedings because they wouldn’t let you turn said proceedings into a circus by addressing the audience rather than the judge. Also, you chose to file your documents with the court without getting another attorney to sign it by order of said court.
Practice what you preach: Grow up and get a life.
Well, Jack is right about one thing; they weren’t defense filings.
Other than that, though, my post still stands on its merits (none of which have been substantively addressed by Thompson).

Since you’re such a smart guy you must already realize that Goebbels wasn’t tried at Nuremburg seeing as how he killed his family and himself before he was captured. I know facts tend to be pretty meaningless to you, but I just thought I’d point this out.
Also, your pleadings show why you were disbarred…filled with ad hominem attacks and pointless “evidence.” If somebody else is breaking the law, as you submit (they’re not, but for the sake of argument let’s say they are), that does not give you license to behave like a jackass in and out of court. Religion, also, does not give you license to behave like a jackass in and out of court. (In fact, I’m pretty sure your Bible has rules about not behaving like a jerk.)
You are not being singled out because you are Christian. You are not being singled out because you wrote a very poorly written book. You are not being targeted by the gays. You are not being targeted by the “porn” industry. You are not being targeted by the game industry.
You have been called out to be disbarred due to your utter lack of competence, your inability to compose yourself in a court of law, your refusal to follow simple instructions from the court, and your complete inability to follow legal procedures.
It’s actually pretty hilarious that you lack the legal skill to get yourself removed from a case. I’m sure Salomon is happy to have you on his side. LOL.
Mr. Thompson, I’ve known many many fine lawyers in my life and you, sir, are no lawyer.
