Another short Jack Thompson update

Posted by Dan on October 17, 2008

You can’t stop this train! Jack Thompson apparently intends to spam some 80,000 attorneys in the state of Florida. Thanks Gameslaw user Andrew for sending us this tip:

[Attached is] the Notice filed with the Federal court in his big Federal case with the attached letter which he’s spamming to the 84,000 attorneys (sic) in FL.  Why he thought that telling the Federal court about it I’ll never know.

The Notice just tells the court his plans to spam the attornies with the letter.

Download the file in RAR format here.

  1. Liz Surette Said,

What’s this? Jack Thompson CITING case law instead of completely ignoring it? I…..I think I might faint over here!

  2. nightwng2000 Said,

Just mailed Dan a really big (in size) one that was filed today (the 17th).
    1 Motion of a few pages…
And a single .pdf with the exhibits of several reports which, together, total almost 360 pages.

I notice he continues to pluck out a single report of something that is repeated almost yearly and makes it sound like it’s the only one and evidence of a horrendous act (he picked the 2007 FTC report about sales of rated materials and the failure/success rate at the retail level).

And why, you ask, is he doing this? Basically, he’s saying “I didn’t get to defend myself during my disbarrment trial so here’s my evidence that everyone is selling porngoraphy to kids!”. :/

    Dan,
I know you say you have a Mac. Will it handle .Zip files or only .Ace files? WinRAR will .ZIP but though it can open .ACE files, it can’t make them (that I see). If you want, I can download an ACE compresser and redo them so you can see them too.

    Andrew

  3. Dan Said,

Yeah, Mac will handle .Zip just fine, but not .rar (which is what the other ones were formatted in).

Okey dokey. All ZIPped and sent.

    Enjoy. :)
